YAKIMA, Wash. – Yakima Town Hall will begin a new season of speakers three weeks from Wednesday at the Capitol Theatre when Cokie Roberts takes the stage.
Roberts, a television and radio commentator, is one of four speakers for the 38th season of the series. For almost 40 years, the program has brought timely and popular guests to Yakima to talk about issues that are relevant to the local community as well as around the world. Four times a year, speakers talk to an audience inside the Capitol on a Wednesday for an hour. The topics and guests range from politics, health, business, sciences, music, film, and literature.
The series is sold as a package at $75 per ticket. Subscribers do not need to attend all four sessions and can give individual tickets to others if they cannot attend one of the schedule speaker dates.
Tickets are still available by contacting Allied Arts at (509) 966-0930 or visit www.yakimatownhall.com.
