Scott Simon

From Ground Zero in New York to ground zero in Kabul, National Public Radio’s Scott Simon has reported on wars, scandals and opening nights from all 50 states and all seven continents. He has interviewed some of the most interesting personalities of our time, including Mother Teresa and Ariel Sharon, Katy Perry, and he conducted the famous interview that began the Bill Cosby scandal. Simon brings a well-traveled perspective to his role as host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday, which has an audience of 4.2 million listeners and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015.
